How to Contribute To This Site

Leaders of the Beaver and Cub Scout sections will submit reports, photographs and samples of the member's work to the editor.

We hope that many of the reports for the Scout section will be produced by the members themselves.  These should then also be submitted to the editor.

We would also be interested in hearing from ex-members of the 1st Winchester Scout Group if they have any old stories of the group.

When material is received, the editor will check that the content complies with the rules of this site, including obtaining parent's permission where appropriate.  He will then format it in a style consistant with the rest of the site before publishing it.

Text can be accepted on paper, but it is prefered in electronic form particularly in text format such as that produced by Windows Notepad.

Pictures can be photographs or drawings, which can be scanned, or they can be from digital cameras in which case JPEG format is prefered.
